About Margaret McNamara Educational Grants
MMEG is a non-profit and charity grant organization that awards education grants to exceptional women from developing countries.
According to MMEG, since 1981, they have been working to empower women by supporting their education so that they can build a better world. MMEG has sponsored Grants to women from various fields cutting across Engineering, Information Technologies, Health, Science, Education, Social Studies, and Law.
MMEG has been able to award grants up to US$15,000 in the US/Canada program and grants up to US$7,000 in Africa, Latin America, and Trinity programs in the past years.

Who is Eligible to Apply?
Below is the eligibility requirement for this grant. Applicants must
· Be a national of a country listed on the MMEG Country Eligibility List;
- Be at least 25 years old at the time of the application deadline (see specific regional program application below);
- Be enrolled at an accredited academic institution when submitting the application; and plan to be enrolled for a full academic term after the award of the grant by the Board;
- Not be related to a World Bank Group, International Monetary Fund, or Inter-American Development Bank staff member or spouse;
