About the Daily Trust Foundation
The Daily Trust Foundation was founded in 2016 to provide scholarships to promising young journalists and women attending medical school and to fund economic empowerment projects and humanitarian services.

To qualify for the scholarship award, the applicant must:
- Be a Nigerian
- Be a female
- Be a Medical (MBBS)/ or Nursing Student
- Be in 200L
Below are the universities eligible:
- Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto State
- University of Ilorin, Kwara State
- University of Maiduguri, Borno State

How to Apply
Interested and qualified students who meet the above requirements are to collect the application forms from their university college secretary’s office or Media Trust Office in their states or download the application form online here.
All applicants are required to fill out appropriately and attach passports, photocopies of admission letters, ID cards, certificates of origin, and course registration forms for the current academic session.
How to Submit
Completed application forms should be submitted to the following:
