Masters Scholarship: University of Pretoria MasterCard Scholarships for African Students 2023

University of Pretoria Scholarship: Currently ongoing is the 2023 University of Pretoria MasterCard Scholarships for African Students. This is a Masters scholarship for Africans only. It is an exceptional opportunity for suitably and merited candidates to undergo a postgraduate or masters degree program at the University of Pretoria.

The University of Pretoria (UP), in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation (MCF), opened an application for awarding postgraduate scholarships to high-achieving African students beginning in January 2023.

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program (MCFSP) seeks academically outstanding but economically disadvantaged young Africans who will contribute to the continent’s change through their knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values demonstrated through their leadership. The program relies heavily on community service and internships.

The MCFSP provides full scholarships to students who have been provisionally admitted to UP to pursue a postgraduate degree. Graduates must return to their home nations after finishing their education and contribute to their communities.
