Eligibility Requirements for the Opekete Foundation Scholarship

• Be a female Nigerian citizen who is not a current beneficiary of a scholarship programme
• Be intending to study/or currently enrolled in Nursing or Teaching (Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) related course of study.
• Have gained/or currently enrolled into a public secondary school (JS 3) or public university in a teaching (STEM) related /Nursing related course.

• Score a minimum of 5 A’s in English, Mathematics and any other 3 major subjects in Junior WAEC (Secondary applicants)
• Score a minimum of 5 distinctions (A1-B3) in English, Mathematics and any other 3 major subjects in WAEC/NECO at one sitting (University applicants)
• Meet or exceed the required JAMB cut-off score for the course and school applied to (University applicants)

2. JAMB Result
3. Local Government Area Identification (i.e State of origin)
4. Institution Admission Letter
5. Birth Certificate
6. Transcript for Academic Qualifications
7. National Identity Number(NIN) Slip

9. Essay (300 words)
