Eligibility requirement of the Government of Mauritius Scholarship
As part of its commitment to promoting high-level capacity-building across the continent, the Government of Mauritius is providing scholarships to talented students who are resident citizens of African Union or African Commonwealth nations and meet the criteria outlined below:
- be citizens of an African country
- have applied for full-time on-campus undergraduate studies at any public Tertiary Education Institution in Mauritius for the academic year starting in 2022
- have completed their secondary school education and have 24 points at GCE A – Level
- be proficient in English Language
- above 18 years of age and should not have reached their 26th birthday at the closing date of application;
- not have reached 35 years {For Master’s programmes}
- not have reached 45 years by the closing date of application {for Ph.D. programmes}
