Eligible and qualified candidates are hereby invited to apply for the 2022 Vice-Chancellors Scholarships at the University of Westminster in the UK. This scholarship is aimed at providing support for students who are from black and mixed black backgrounds and have a desire to pursue their higher education at the institution.

The University of Westminster is a public research university in London, England, according to Wikipedia. Founded in 1838 as the Royal Polytechnic Institution, it was the first polytechnic to open in London. The Polytechnic formally received a Royal charter in August 1839 and became the University of Westminster in 1992.
The institution started 180 years ago as the first polytechnic in London and one of the first in the UK, established to educate the working people of London. It offers access to several programs. There are 180 undergraduate courses, 231 PG courses, and 99 professional and short courses. This includes full-time, part-time, open, and distance learning courses.

Scholarship Benefits and Award Value
A scholarship value of £2500 will be paid into your nominated bank account in October and February each year towards your tuition fees or paid directly to the university in November of each academic year. Students will not receive the yearly allowance if they are in a repeat year or a placement/sandwich year.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Below are the eligibility requirements for you to partake in this scholarship:
- You must hold a September 2022 course offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University of Westminster.
- You must have a household income of £25,000 or below as assessed by the Student Loans Company.
- You must be from a black or mixed black ethnic background.Â
