Full Benefits of the 2023 Qatar University Scholarships

Applicants that are successful for the 2023 Qatar University Scholarships for International Students will be awarded the following benefits:

• Full Tuition Fee Exemption
• Textbook Fees Exemption
• Monthly Stipends of 500 QR
• Free Student Accommodation (2 students per dorm room) including transportation to/from campus.
• Annual air fare ticket for student round trips.
• Legit Residential Permit under Qatar University Sponsorship.

Eligibility Requirements for the 2023 Qatar University Scholarships

To be eligible for the 2023 Qatar University Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following conditions:

• The Applicants must have a High school certificate or it’s equivalent.
• You must have attained a bench score of 95% in High School.
• Must have received the final acceptance in the University.
• All applicants must meet the admission requirements for the college that they applied to.
• You must have a good reputation.
• No applicant should get any other benefits from this scholarships or another sponsorships/scholarship simultaneously.
• The scholarship must only be utilized from the start of the semester in which the scholarship was awarded. Although the start of the study can be postponed for one semester, if necessary, with a conditional approval from the scholarship committee.

NB: if any student fails to pass his or her first semester, the scholarship will be withdrawn, and the student would be informed via the Qatar University Email.

Conditions for the Continuity of the 2023 Qatar University Scholarships

Awardees for the 2023 Qatar University Scholarship are expected to maintain the following conditions to extend the scholarship benefits yearly:

• You must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
• Must complete a minimum of 12 hours per semester.
• Awardees should be registered continuously (in fall & spring) until graduation.
• The student should not exceed the period of graduation based on his or her study plan.
• All awardees of the scholarships are expected to adhere to the Academic rules & regulations, policies, and procedures of Qatar University.
• You must abide to the General Conditions to keep the scholarship.

Interview, Screening Dates, and Venue for the 2023 Qatar University Scholarships

All applicants that interested in applying for the 2023 Qatar University scholarship should take note of the following:

• Evaluation of applications will begin 7 weeks after the deadline of the online scholarship application.
• Nominated students will get a conditional acceptance letter stating the conditions that must be met, and the documents needed to receive final acceptance of the award.
• After documents have been submitted, the university will apply for visas and the students will get notified accordingly.
• The final admission process and scholarship decisions will be sent to the applicants via email according to the announced timeline.
• Upon Receiving the applications, the scholarship committee may consider the applicant’s standard test scores in English (IELTS or TOELF) and in Mathematics (SAT, ACT or QU Math Placer) or any scores selected by the committee.
