British Academy Global Fellowship
British Fellowship: The application is open for the 2023 British Academy Global Innovation Fellowship for international researchers. This program receives support from the International Science Partnerships Fund, which is a £119m initiative by the UK Government. The fund is aimed at promoting potential and fostering prosperity, by placing research and innovation at the center of the UK’s international relationships. It enables UK researchers and innovators to collaborate with their peers from around the world and work on the major themes of our time. The management of this fund falls under the purview of the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology, and is delivered by a consortium of the UK’s leading research and innovation bodies.
Objectives of the British Academy Global Fellowship
The aim of the Global Innovation Fellowships is to offer prospects to researchers in the early or middle stages of their careers, who are based in the UK and from diverse backgrounds in the humanities and social sciences. The objective is to help them enhance their abilities, professional networks, and careers in the creative and cultural, public, private, and policy domains. This will enable them to deal with difficulties that require innovative approaches and solutions. The Global Innovation Fellowships will facilitate researchers in the SHAPE community to forge new and stronger relationships outside academia. This will enable them to mobilize and translate knowledge, as well as develop individual skills.
