Students who are nationals of countries on the University’s annual list of countries from which they would like to build representation at LBCC are automatically given the Global Explorer scholarship. No application is required for students from these countries.

Eligible students will receive 1 credit of international tuition each of their first three terms at LBCC.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of the listed eligible countries
  • be new and continuing international students each year.
  • have high school certificates with a good academic record.
  • submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests: TOEFL500 PBT or 61 IBT, IELTS or IELTS Indicator 5.5, Duolingo score 95 or higher (no sub-score lower than 75), IGCSE English with C or above ITEP 3.7 and US Standard High School Diploma/GED.
